Returns and complaints

1. Cancelling an order

You can cancel an order free of charge up to 2 hours before the agreed delivery or pickup time: call +371 23 008 777 or email info@ledu.lv.

If the order has already been paid, we refund the money within 14 days by the same method used to pay: to the card or to the bank account.

2. Ice: no right of withdrawal

Food-grade ice is a product that perishes quickly. Under Clause 22.4 of Latvian Cabinet Regulation No. 255 of 20 May 2014 "Regulations on Distance Contracts", the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to delivered ice.

This does not limit your right to make a claim if the goods do not match your order or the contract (see section 5).

3. 24 L cooler box: 14-day right of withdrawal

The cooler box is not a perishable product. A consumer may withdraw from its purchase within 14 days of receiving it without giving any reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, tell us about your decision before the period ends: email info@ledu.lv or use the model withdrawal form below (using it is optional).

Bring the cooler box back to our production site at Jēkabpils iela 12, Riga, no later than 14 days after sending your notice. The buyer bears the cost of returning it. You are liable for any loss in value caused by handling the product beyond what is needed to check its nature and functioning.

We refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, no later than 14 days after receiving your notice, using the same payment method. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back.

4. Ice bath and thermo boxes

An ice bath order, including one with bath rental, can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 hours before the agreed delivery time. Hand-over and return of a rented bath are agreed with our manager.

We refund the 20 EUR thermo box deposit within 5 working days after the thermo box is returned to our production site at Jēkabpils iela 12.

5. Wrong or faulty order

Please check the goods on delivery. If you received a different product or quantity, tell the courier straight away or call +371 23 008 777: we will deliver the correct goods free of charge or refund the amount paid in full.

If the quality of the ice does not match the description (for example, it is clumped or dirty), let us know as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of delivery, and attach photos. We review every case individually and offer a replacement or a refund.

We reply to written complaints within 15 days. These terms do not limit consumer rights under the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Law.

We are not responsible for loss of quality caused by incorrect storage after delivery. Crushed ice must not be kept in a freezer: it clumps.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, a consumer may contact the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Centre (www.ptac.gov.lv).
