Ice delivery in Latvia: how to order, costs and timing
Ordering ice is simple, but a few questions come up every time: how much delivery costs, when the ice will arrive and whether you can pay by invoice. This guide covers everything you need before placing an order.
Where we deliver
In Riga and its suburbs we deliver ice for a flat 10 € fee, whatever the order size. Jūrmala is covered on request, and for the rest of Latvia we agree terms individually, depending on distance and volume. Check the exact zone on our delivery page.
How to order
The easiest way is to pick your ice in the shop and check out through the cart: enter the delivery address and your preferred time, and we confirm the order. For an urgent or non-standard order, such as a custom-size ice block or a recurring business delivery, it is easier to call +371 23 008 777 or message us on WhatsApp.
How much delivery costs
Delivery in Riga and its suburbs costs 10 € per visit, whether you order a single 10 kg bag or several thermo boxes. There is no minimum order, so you can order exactly as much ice as you need. All prices in the shop already include 21% VAT.
Can I pick it up myself
Yes, self-pickup from the factory at Jēkabpils iela 12 is free. This works well when you need ice right away or would rather skip the delivery fee. Call or message us before you come by so the order is ready, and bring a cooler box or an insulated bag so the ice does not start melting on the way home.
When the ice arrives
The exact delivery time is always agreed with our manager once the order is confirmed, so we do not promise a fixed same-day delivery. We work Monday to Thursday 9:00-19:00, Friday and Saturday 9:00-22:00, and Sunday 11:00-17:00, and for events we adjust the time outside these hours too. For large events, such as the 120 kg ice tub, delivery needs a 2-hour window so the driver can arrive on time and fill the tub on site. For weddings, parties and corporate events, you can work out the delivery window together with the amount of ice you need on our events page.
How to pay
Payment is by bank transfer against an invoice only, sent to your email once the order is confirmed. For bars and restaurants that need regular deliveries, we offer invoiced accounts with deferred payment; read more on our chillit.lv.
